Ex: Think before you speak, explain calmly what is making you upset, take deep breaths before you react…

You will lose out on learning. You will have to make the work during your recess time. You will also lose out on Fun Friday at the end if the week.

In the library, I use a level 0 voice, I look for my 2 books that are at my reading level, I sit quietly reading my books until dismissed.

Tell that student to stop what they are doing. If it continues, go tell a yard duty supervisor.

Ex: I could hurt someone’s feelings, I could get my name on the board, I could lose a friend, I could have my parents notified.

You need to bring your charged chrome book, your charger, your backpack with your binder, work, pencil, pen, and paper.

When can I get out of my seat without asking?

You can get out of your seat without asking if you are done with your work and are getting an “early finisher” activity. You may also get out of your seat for a tissue or to sharpen your pencil (during independent work time)
