What do we grab when we first enter the classroom?

Can you go to the bathroom without a bathroom pass?
No, if you lose your bathroom pass you need to ask Browne or Carl for a new one. You cannot borrow your friends!
What are the consequences for eating in the classroom?
Warning and after the warning levels will occur.
What do we do when we first sit down?
Begin bellwork
If we need to borrow anything (pen, pencil, etc.) what do we do?
Ask Ms. Joseph and she will get it for you.
Where do we turn in class work?
The bin that is labeled with your period
When are you considered late to class?
When the bell rings and the door is shut. If I am not at the door and you have to knock to get in, YOU ARE LATE!
What is the first period's expectation when entering the classroom? (This only applies to first period and typically occurs in all your first period's classroom)
Take the chairs down.
When exiting the classroom, what are the first things you do before you leave?
Put your portfolio and any materials (books, pens, highlighters, pencils, etc.) away
When your classmates are talking, we are:
quiet and paying attention. We raise our hands when we want to speak
Where do I put papers with no names?
Clip them on the announcements board and label them no name.
When should Ms. Joseph's reading corner chair and little table and chairs be used?
When given permission. You cannot just pick and choose when you do not have to work in your desk
What is the last period's expectation when entering the classroom? (This only applies to 8th period and typically occurs in all your 8th period's classroom)
Put the chairs up.

When is it appropriate to pack up?
When you hear Ms. Joseph doing the claps, what do you do?
clap back, get quiet, and pay attention
Do your papers get graded on google classroom if you do not click turn in?
No, they are not graded until they are officially turned in.
What seats do you sit in when you enter the classroom?
your assigned seats.
Are we allowed to go through Ms. Joseph's desk and our classmate's backpacks?
BONUS POINTS (100): What will be the future consequence if we cannot stay out of each other's belongings?
NO! If you need something from Ms. Joseph ask and if you want to borrow something from your friends, ask!
BONUS: Backpacks will have to be placed in the front of the classroom every time you enter.
What are some extra things you can do before exiting?
pick up trash, make sure the desks are straightened and chairs pushed in, make sure supplies are put away.
What are the classroom volume levels and what do they mean?
0- silent
1- whisper
2- talking voice
When you are missing work, what do you do?
First, check the missing work bin in the back and check google classroom. If what you are looking for is in neither or those places, talk to Ms. Joseph so she can make you copies or tell you instructions.
Are we allowed to eat in the classroom?
No.
When we borrow a pencil/pen from Ms. Joseph, what do we do when we are done?

When we are done, we give it back to Ms. Joseph so the classroom can continue to have utensils to use.
BONUS: We do not break them, leave them on the floor, throw them, or steal them.
