What is one example of a transition?
Going from class to class, switching activities,
Stand in a circle, completely silent pass the silent ball. When the ball hits the ground, someone sits down and is "out" until next round
What is non-social lunch?
It is a lunch detention served in the cafeteria at a table with Mr. Gilbert and/or Ms. Beaver
What is one way to positively greet?
Smile and wave, "hello" and high fives, hugs (quickly, if you ask permission first), handshake
How long can you take a break for in C7?
3, 5, or 7 minutes to start
What are the expectations of the hallway?
Walking always, stay on the right side, do not touch wall decorations, volume 2 or below (no yelling)
What's the routine for snacks?
Wash hands, get a napkin, sit down, say please and thank you
What happens if we are not kind to others?
People may think we are mean, people may not want to be our friends, people may not be kind to us
What volume level do you enter a classroom at?
0! Unless it's passing period- then 2 may be appropriate for conversation
Why do we take breaks?
To reset, calm down, and rest to be ready for the next activity
What happens when my break timer/choice activity timer goes up?
Clean it up, and move onto the next activity
Where do used cups go?
In the sink!
What happens if we pick our nose in public?
People may think we are weird, people will not want to touch the things around us
What are break options?
Snack, water, break room, stationary bike, sensory sand, walk a lap

Follow expectations each class
How do you get fidgets and sensory activities?
Be following expectations for a break, say please, and thank you. Treat them responsibly or lose the privilege!
What may happen when we put our fingers in our mouth?
People may have weird thoughts about us, we spread germs, we might get sick
Act out the steps of using a tissue
1. Notice we need to blow our nose (does it tickle/can I not breath in and out of my nose clearly) 2. Take two tissues 3. Blow my nose 4. Throw away the tissue 5. Wash or sanitize hands
What happens if we misuse resources or don't follow directions?
The resources may break, we may lose access for the day, we may not have access to those resources anymore
