No - there will be designated times that students are able to use their iPads. The time is up to the discretion of the teacher.
When should I get lined up in the morning?
The first bell rings at 7:55. At that time you should be preparing to get lined up. By 7:57 you should be in our line prepared to enter the school.
What should you do when you enter the classroom in the morning?
Turn in homework, make sure you have all materials for the day, quietly begin morning work.
What do you do if you walk past a classroom and see someone you know and want to say hello?
Give them a silent wave and keep walking.
What should a student do if their iPad is lost, stolen or damaged?
Report this to a teacher, administrator or parent immediately.
When are students permitted to use earbuds or headphones?
Students are ONLY allowed to use earbuds or headphones in the classroom with permission from the teacher. NOT WHEN THE TEACHER IS TALKING!

Why is it important to walk quietly in the hallway?
So you don´t disturb other classes or people working in the office.
Why is it important that you stay in your learning space?
Distracting to others, disrespectful to teacher, can't learn if not paying attention, etc.
How can a student spend the tickets that they earn?
Students can use the tickets to purchase items from our prize box or other items from our ticket menu!

Are absent or suspended students still expected to complete assignments?
Yes - even if a student is absent (for any reason), they are still expected to complete the assignments. All work is posted on Google classroom.
When are you allowed you leave the classroom at dismissal?
We will all line up together. Once we make it to the bottom of the stairs, those that attend after school clubs or ride the bus will head to their designated area while the rest of us go outside.
How should students dismiss from the classroom?
1. Collect all of your belongings and clean up your area
2. Remain in your assigned seat
3. Wait until the teacher has instructed you to leave
How should students travel to and from lunch/recess?
Students should walk (not run) with their class to and from lunch. Students should keep voices off and hands to themselves.
What should a student do if he/she has completed their assignment for the day?
1. Complete missing assignments
2. Correct graded assignments to improve score
3. Read independently
When do students have permission to go to their locker?
At the beginning of the day, before lunch and at the end of the day.
What must be done before our class can exit the classroom at dismissal?
We must have ALL written in our planners, gathered our things, stacked our chairs, cleaned the classroom, completed our jobs, and lined up at a voice level 0/1.
