Creativity- We at BRL believe every person here, especially our artist, should be creative because we will be creating a lot of music with our youth and the longer you're here you will be doing some of the same curriculum and we will have to be able to create different songs than we did before. We also create fun warm ups and activities.
Authenticity- We want everybody here from staff, interns and to our youth to be their true selves. We want you to bring your real experience out. It's easy for people to rap about stuff they don't know anything about. We see it a lot in music today. We want everybody to really talk about the things you like, the things you don't like, things that impact you, your going through or even things you see.
-Life experiences- We all have different experiences in life that will help us connect with our youth. This is the thing that brings people together one of our biggest connection points as humans. This is what helps us give our youth the tools they need to move forward in their journey called life.
