What are Pi Phi's Read Lead Achieve literacy initiatives:

1. Champions are Readers - Pi Phi's own progam; CAR is a month long reading enrichment program for 3rd grade elementary students
2. CAR connect - a literacy initiative linking the CAR program with the First Book resources, like free books.
3. First Book - In June 2007, Pi Phi and Pi Beta Phi Foundation announced its corporate partnership with First Book, an international nonprofit organization founded in 1992 to give children from low income families the opportunities to read and own their first books
4. Fraternity Dat of Service - Pi Beta Phi celebrates Fraternity Day of Service on or around March 2nd in effort to advance literacy in order to achieve maximum impact in fundraising and awareness

Do you have a live-in requirement?

Most people live in both sophmore and junior year. The house has to be full and then you can request to live-out. Mostly seniors, commuters, and RAs live out of the house.
