A local department of government that addresses the health of the public.

The designated single state agency responsible for the administration of the State's Medicaid program and provides access to appropriate health care for Medicaid-eligible individuals.

DHHR workers that investigate reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation of adults.
Who are Adult Protective Service Workers.
A type of Federal Funding that provides the majority of FRN funding.
What is Medicaid Funding?
A three digit toll-free number people can call for connections to local resources.
What is 211?
Monetary awards that organizations can apply for to accomplish a specific objective in the community.
What are Grants?
The federally designated State Authority for mental health and substance abuse, as well as the lead agency for intellectual and developmental disabilities. (They provide planning, direction, training and funding for prevention, treatment and recovery services throughout the state).
What is the Bureau for Behavioral Health or BHF?
A program that gives a yearly voucher to school age children if the parents meet the financial qualifications. All children placed in foster homes and children who's parents received TANF automatically receive them.
What is the School Clothing Allowance program?
These are FRN contractual obligations for the collection and tracking of data on service gaps, coordination efforts to address those gaps and assisting with promotion of opportunities for families.
What are Performance Objectives?
A group of people that DHHR Customers can call with changes in their cases when they receive TANF, SNAP or Medicaid assistance from the DHHR.

The income level Families cannot exceed to be eligible for medicaid.
