When you watch a record about a person, you receive an e-mail notification that tells you when someone changes the person’s summary, when new activity in a person’s discussions occurs, when sources are added, and when the person’s record is combined with or separated from a record. What is the photo showing on the Person page in Family Tree? The first time a photo is tagged to an individual becomes the default or preferred portrait for that individual. This preferred portrait is what will show on the PEOPLE page of FamilySearch Photos. It will also become the preferred portrait on the Details page for the individual in Family Tree if a link to Family Tree has been made.
