It would be a loss. However, a Grade B egg IS allowed to have a small blood or meat spot, LESS than 1/8 inch in diameter.

It would be a C grade! Grade A can be missing wing tips only and the tail to the base. B Grade carcasses can be missing two wing joints and some additional back flesh missing at base of tail.

It would be an A.  (Think about dime size for AA, nickel for A, and quarter for B grade)

This would be "No Grade." A C Grade carcass can be missing a wing, and flesh (meat)  NO WIDER than the base of the tail up to the hip joints. Any missing meat from other part of carcass makes it a No Grade.

If the air cell is much bigger than a quarter, would the egg be considered a loss?

No! When candling, an egg can only be a loss if there are large meat spots of blood spots totaling over 1/8 inch in diameter.
