What are the physical exam, TB test/screening and a dental exam.
This is the number of additional training hours required each year.

This background check is due once prior to becoming an approved foster parent and for all youth in the home when they turn 18.

Medication logs are mandatory and due by this day of the month.

CPR/First Aid trainings are due...
What is every two years and/or before they expire.
This check is due prior to being approved, every 3 years after approval and required for all household members started at age 14.
What is a CPS check.
Two things to be sure to report to your case manager so that we can add an addendum to your home study
What is:
A new job/change of income
A new pet
A new child/household member
Changes made to your home- like adding a wall or an additional bed (not cosmetic)
When should the first treatment team meeting be scheduled for a new placement and who is required to attend the meeting?
What is within 30 days.
FPS, the youth, DFS/DSS worker and Case manager are required to attend.
All other team members (GAL, CASA, therapist, etc) are welcome!
CLEAR photos of prescription medication must show this information:
What is:
The name and dose of medication
The prescribing Doctor
The child's name
The date
These two quizzes are required every years.
What are Medication and CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention).
This form is due starting at age 18 and much be completed again every 3 years.
What is a sworn statement.
These two statements need to be signed every three years when your recertification is completed

TB tests/screenings for foster youth and household members must be completed...
Hint: The frequency is not the same.

Attending DFS/DSS meetings
ANYTHING you can relate back to foster care, foster youth, children, etc.
This check is required 3 years after fingerprinting and then again every 3 years after that.
