When a teacher is with us, on the bus.
What are you supposed to wear while on a Field Trip?
A neon field trip shirt!
This special summer time activity is a privilege based on your good behavior and following the rules.
Field Trips! If we are not following classroom rules, a field trip can be taken away. We can spend our time do quiet activities instead of going on a field trip.
What do we do when we need to use the restroom on a field trip?
Ask the teacher! They will take you to a restroom near the group.
How do we move inside the classroom?
We use walking feet!
When do we put on our seatbelts?
When the bus is on and in motion.
Is it okay to leave the teacher while on a field Trip?
NO! You must always stay with a teacher!
When other people are at the field trip play, what should you do?
Be mindful! Be respectful of others that do not go to our school. Give them space and stay with your group.
What if a Teacher gets hurt on a field trip, what should you do?
All the children stay near the teacher, and follow instructions to call for help.
How do we treat our classmates and friends?
With Respect!
What volume should our voices be on the bus?
Quiet voices. The teacher needs to be able to listen for any emergency vehicles.
What can you buy while on a field trip?
Nothing! No outside money can be brought to the center.
When is it okay to leave the teacher's sight?
Never!
What if you bring a cell phone, laptop or electronic to school or the field trip? Can you use them?
No! If they are brought, they get taken up front and your parent gets a phone call.
How do we treat classroom items, toys and crafts?
With Respect!
When can we take our seat belts off?
After the bus in turned off and the teacher lets you know that it is safe to take off your seatbelts.
How should we act while on a field trip?
We should be on our best behavior, we are representing our school while out in the community.
Can you leave the field trip if your parent shows up?
NO!! You need to stay with the teacher until you get back to school. Unless this was preplanned and okayed by Ms. Jen or Ms. Haley.
What if it is nap time and you are in the classroom, what should you be doing?
Staying QUIET and listening to the teachers. No banging on the walls.
How do we treat others and classroom items with respect? What is Respect?
Keeping your hands to yourself, asking before taking something that does not belong to you, being gentle with items so that they can be used by others. Give more Examples for more points.
What can you eat or drink on the bus?
Nothing, nada, zippola, ziltch
What do you need to bring on a field trip?
Water bottle and a good attitude!
What day will you never go on a field trip?
Mondays!!
What if you get picked up by Ms. Jen or Ms. Haley from the field trip?
Your parents will be called, you will get a write-up and you potentially lose the ability to go on the rest of the field trips this summer!!
