A young man stayed up very late on Saturday playing computer games with a friend. On Sunday he slept late and barely made it to church on time. AS he walked into church and saw the Communion vessels in the front of the church, he wondered whether it would be right for him to take Communion. If the young man were to ask your advice whether or not he should take Communion, what would you tell him?
A good answer would be to wait until you've had the chance to properly examine yourself before taking Communion. You'll have other chances, and God promises his forgiveness through other things (like the Absolution). Better to wait than to sin against the body and blood of Jesus.

Evaluate this statement: Talking about sin makes people uncomfortable. In order to get more people to join the church, we shouldn't talk so much about sin and forgiveness.
Incorrect. Talking about sin and forgiveness is the whole reason we gather as Christians in the first place. Without talk of sin, we wouldn't realize we need salvation or a Savior and we'd be showing disrespect to Jesus and the sacrifice he made.
