How do you position your hands on an adult child and infant to perform CPR?
Adult- position the heel of the hand in the center of the person and place other hand on top and interlock figures compress at least 2 inches (2 hands)
Child-One hand on center of chest or 2 hands and only compress about 2 inches (1 or 2 hand)
Infant-two figures center of chest and compress about 1 1/2 inches or use both thumbs and do compression( two figures)
How do you give CPR to an infant?
Place the infant on forearm and give back blows then flip them over onto your other forearm and give chest thrust using two figures in the middle of the chest make sure to always be supporting their head
