First graders should go straight into the stall (or quietly wait their turn), wash their hands, and quickly line up in the hallway. First graders should be responsible and always do the right thing...that means no fooling around!

Read in the library, draw on whiteboards, play with STEM bins.

First graders will sit in a circle by the calendar. First graders should look at and listen to the speaker (either Miss Burwell or a classmate).
During a fire drill (or any emergency drill), what should you do with your eyes, your ears, and your mouth?
Eyes should be looking at the teacher, ears should be listening for instructions, and mouths should be completely silent.
