What is the difference between a dry measuring cup and a liquid measuring cup?

Dry measures are only used for dry ingredients, liquid ingredients are only used for liquid. Liquid measuring cups are also usually glass and have a spout.

Two things to keep in mind when using the stand mixers. 

They should always be cleaned and wiped down after being used. 

Always start the speed on low.
