We have similar contracts with Franklin and Hamilton counties for this homestudy service that helps youth find permanency with family members or fictive kin.

We increased this type of homestudy this fiscal year in order to help families providing care for relatives to gain support, resources, and per diem payments.

What is Healing Alternatives for Youth?
Homes with pools are required to have one of these near the pool area in case of emergency.
What is Ring Buoy or Life Saving Device?
One of our top three priorities this fiscal year that involves working with families to expand their availability or expand the characteristics of youth they are open to.

A big change from DCY this year that launched 1/1/25 this initiative extended foster care licenses by two years.

This measure of success on our program scorecard looks at whether or not a youth discharging from our foster care program achieved permanency. Our goal is to have 75% or higher
What is Successful Discharge or Positive Discharge?
Our mighty admin team collects, tracks, double checks, and processes these each month which include foster parent mileage, clothing allowance, and per diem payments.
What are foster parent reimbursements?
Launched this year by our QI department, many of you have been participating in this process that helps us evaluate our level of compliance with COA requirements.
