Description of the game

Welcome to Franken-Fusion Jeopardy! In this game we’ll be turning education fun by taking knowledge of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and the monster series with a cult following, Monster High; but specifically, Freaky Fusion. This game will cover key themes, plot points, and settings while focusing on the changes in the Frankenstein story and its connections to the original. Categories include Themes, Settings, Fun Facts, and Who Said It. This game encourages players to learn how Monster High distorted the original meaning of the story, forever affecting what young people believe the story to be, while also maintaining crucial elements of the Frankenstein story.

Monster High: Freaky Fusion

Monster High re-tells classical Monster stories through the perspectives of their non-canon children. Frankenstein is one of those stories as we follow Frankie Stein, his daughter. In Freaky Fusion, she, along with some other daughters of monsters, meets hybrid monsters and they all fall into the past through a time machine. Frankie doesn't know much about her family history, so she uses this time to learn about her Grandfather Victor. Victor is desperate for approval and something he's been missing his whole life and Frankie encourages him by talking about how someone made her. To escape the past Frankie and the girls go back to their time but since 6 of the girls went through 2 at a time, they become fused together; both girls fighting for control of their bodies. The hybrids help them to understand their weird new combined powers and coincide. Eventually, things get worked out and they separate... But only after Victor has taken Frankie's words to heart and creates an unstable Creation that chases them and forces Frankie to use herself as a sacrifice to stop it.
