What does our swim test consist of?
Jump in the deep end of the comp pool completely submerge, tread water for 30 seconds, swim the length of the pool down & back.
When ratio calls for 2 guards, where are guards positioned? If standing, where?
On opposite sides of the pool.
Standing IN THE BROWN on opposite sides of the pool.
You can walk to avoid getting absolutely drenched by swim teams, however this is not to be a show and be laughing/carrying on.
What age does someone have to be to use the water weights/water belts?
13 or pass the swim test
Can you workout in the sauna/whirlpool?
NO NEVER
At what level do you contact Mandi/Audrey/CDLOD if pH is starting to be out of range? (Low and high)

Where can a red wristband swim in the comp pool? Rec pool?
Comp pool: no further than the sauna doors

What is our EAP for a drowning victim?
Whistle to activate the EAP, enter the pool, perform appropriate rescue, extricate(if needed), perform a primary assessment, then secondary assessment if no life-threatening injuries are apparent. Perform whatever care is necessary.
What is the temperature of the pool?
88, fluctuates 2 degrees either way
What is the temperature range of the comp pool?
80 degrees, fluctuates 2 degrees either way
At what level do you contact Mandi/Audrey/CDLOD if chlorine is getting out of range? Each pool & whirlpool. Low and high

When does a red wristband NOT have to wear a lifejacket?
Within arms reach of a parent ACTIVELY providing instruction or passes the pole height test
When do you fill out an incident report? Who gets the incident report?
Any time you provide first aid more than a bandaid (unless the bandaid is necessary due to a fall or cut from the facility), anytime you enter the water to save a patron, blood, AFR/vomit in the pools, fights

Where would a spinal injury patron be removed from the pool?

What is the full procedure if chemicals are low/high?
Retest chemicals, contact Mandi/Audrey or CDLOD(depending on time of day/day of week), wait to close the affected area until Mandi/Audrey/CDLOD says to, let the front desk know that it is closed until approximately X time, calculate how much chemicals to add, wait 10-15 minutes, retest, reopen if ok, if not, repeat.
When does a parent need to be in the pool with their child?
Red wristband: always
Green wristband: Needs to be in the aquatic area.
