Your teacher says to get into groups of 4. You found 2 others to make a group with, however you see one student that you are not friends with looking for a group.
What should you do?
Ask that student to be a part of your group.
Someone budged in front of you in line. This makes you quite upset. What should you do?
Let them know that you have been waiting in line for a while and that it is not polite to budge in line. Ask them to go to the back.
Your friend shows up to school with a brand new sweater that you think is awesome!
What should you do?
Give your friend a compliment! Tell them you like their sweater and why.
We are doing a math lesson and you blurt out "THIS IS SO EASY!" but one of your classmates is struggling to understand the lesson.

They would feel like they are not smart enough because they do not understand something that you think is easy.
You are playing at free time with the plastic animals. There is only one spot left that you really want your friend (who is finishing their work) to play with you. However, a student who is done their work wants to join you.

You are doing a math assignment but the student beside you keeps giggling and saying "6-7" and it is bothering you.
What should you do?
If it continues, let a teacher know.
We are at the carpet doing a lesson and you are sitting on a chair (you sat in the chair yesterday as well) but you hear that one of your classmates has not been able to get a chair all week.

It is okay to not invite everyone to your birthday plans, however it is not okay to be hurtful. This person's feelings are likely very hurt.
Instead, wait to share your invites until you have an invitations to put in planners. If someone asks if they are invited but they are not, kindly tell them "I could not invite everyone, but maybe we can do something else together to celebrate"
We are doing an art project that involves colouring. There is only one purple marker left and both you and your table partner wants to use it.

You are at a table group that has some really chatty friends. You are worried that you will not be able to finish your work before free time because they are distracting you.
What can you do?
You can quietly move to the green table. If the green table is full, ask your teacher where you can go.
You are playing soccer and kick the ball and it accidentally hits someone in the head. They get hurt.
What do you do?
Make sure you apologize and stay with that person. Make sure they are okay. Call for an adult to check on them.
You just had an argument with one of your friends. You were quite mad in the moment, but after thinking about it for a while you realize that you made a mistake.
What should you do?
Go talk to your friend and apologize for what happened. Let them know that you made a mistake and know what to do differently for next time.
You are playing with your friends outside, but you notice that one friend usually gets left behind or left out.
What should you do?
Take time to include your friend. If they fall behind, wait for them, if they are feeling left out, ask them to join your playing. Remind your other friends to include everyone.
You are waiting in line at the slide and someone shoves you out of the way really hard and you fall right onto your bum. It really hurt and they just ran away. What do you do?
Go tell the closest adult what happened. This person is not being safe and should not be hands-on.
You notice that a student next to you is doing a really great job on their art project.
What should you do?
Tell them they are doing a great job. Tell them what you like about their art.
You are with a group of your friends and you hear them saying very mean things about another classmate.

The classmate would feel very hurt and would be very upset to hear mean words about them.
If you hear friends saying mean things about someone else, tell them to stop because it is not kind and let an adult know what is going on.
You are on free-time and you see one of your classmates playing a game all by themself. They look really sad that no one is playing with them.
What should you do?
You should play with them! and if there are other friends you want to play with during free-time then invite them to join as well.
If the game is not a game you like to play, you are also welcome to invite that person to do something else.
You are outside playing with some friends at lunch when a student (That you know you have been having problems with) tries to join you.
What should you do?
Find something new to do.
We are doing a math assignment and you notice someone next to you with their hand up. Your teacher is busy helping 3 other students. You notice that the person next to you is confused about a question you have already done.

Help your neighbour with the question. Show them how to do it. Don't just give them the answer.
