IN THIS PARAGRAPH, WHICH SENTENCE IS THE TOPIC SENTENCE? ----- Can you imagine an Earth that doesn't need to waste space for trash dumps, oil rigs, or coal mines? Allowing the space exploration program to continue, we may be able to find new resources that will benefit us here on Earth, eliminating our own need to destroy our earth for these resources. According to Source 2, "...the amount of 'space coal' found on the surface of the moon alone will last us up to 2,000 years." By mining these types of space rock we will be able to preserve our own resources, allowing them to replenish. Better yet, the dangers of obtaining these resources will be limited since most of our new resources would now come to earth on equipment that is "more regulated than the outdated machinery here." Even though our search for resources is crucial, it isn't the only benefit that will come from allowing the space exploration program to thrive.
