Yes, You should be updating service events daily and You should be checking your to-do list in connections every day.
When should your work phone be charged and powered on?
During working hours.
How often should you be doing home visits with clients?
Twice a month/ Bi-weekly.

yes >12 cases - 1 person model

Do I facilitate "Skilled" interventions?
Yes, You should be doing skilled interventions with every student on your caseload weekly.
When should you submit PTO request?
At least 2 weeks in advance.
How many collateral contacts should you have in a week?
1 collateral contact per week for each case.
How often do you need to see other siblings in the home?
At least once a month
How soon after receiving referral do you have to contact the client?
within 24-72 hours
Can I transport a student home if they are not on my caseload?
No, you can only provide students on your caseload with transportation except when they are sick or having a Crisis.
When is it appropriate to flex time?
If you have a late home visit with a client or participating in open house at your school. This should be discussed with your supervisor ahead of time.
What time frame (without contacts) is considered a gap in services?
More than 14 days
What does it mean to be a child welfare program?
Assessing safety, condition of the home and well-being of all children.
Do we need to contact the referral source?
Yes, especially if you're having a hard-time reaching client
Can I hold on to money for a client?
No, you can not hold on to clients personal items.
How do you notify your school you're going to be absent?

Send administrative staff an email- CC your supervisor and notify clients.
How long can a case remain open without a successful home visit?
2 months
What's the difference between Maltreatment and Abuse?
Abuse is physical infliction upon a child which can cause risk of death, impairment of physical or emotional health or loss of impairment of the function of any bodily organ
Maltreatment is emotional neglect, impairment of mental and emotional health
When should you send a letter?
Within 4-7 days if referred guardian cannot be reached by phone.
Can you pick up medication for a client?
No! You can take client to pick up the medication.
How soon after an event are you supposed to document it in Connections/Penelope?
Within 48 hours
What information should be included in your progress notes?
Date/Time, Location, Present, Purpose, Condition of home, Kids present, a discussion regarding goals, next step.
