In the event that the teacher is incapacitated and a student is bleeding out from the middle of their arm, how do you use a tourniquet? 

Take the tourniquet, place is at a high point on their arm (above the wound), pull the slack from the line, velcro it, begin to crank the bar and tighten as much as possible. If you think its tight enough, do it more, its never tight enough.
