What is Missingno?
This Pokemon was on your rivals team but actually dies between your battle on the S.S. Anne and Pokemon Tower.
What is Rattata/Raticate?
The first badge obtained after defeating Brock.
What is the "Boulder Badge"?
Often affiliated with Giovanni, this feline pokemon had a speed stat so incredibly high that it was practically guaranteed a critical hit on Slash every time.
What is "Persian"?
If you missed the event, have you tried moving the truck?
What is Mew?
Using this move/item that normally raises your critical hit rate was glitched and actually LESSENED your critical hit rate instead.
What is Focus Energy/Dire Hit?
This pokemon is obtained after defeating your rival in Silph Co.
What is "Lapras"?
This badge allowed you to use Cut outside of battle.
What is the "Cascade Badge?"
An iconic evolution to a rather pathetic pokemon. If it was given a dragon typing as intended instead of its flying typing, it would have had no weaknesses in Generation 1 due to the only dragon move in the game dealing 40 set damage every time.
What is "Gyarados"?
A pokemon obtained in Vermillion City via a trade for a Spearow.
What is Farfetch'd?
An item used to escape battle, this can be used to travel to the top of Pokemon Tower, avoiding the Ghost Marowak fight and first Giovanni fight.
What is a Poke-Doll?
You fight your rival on the S.S. Anne in order to obtain this lackluster move. Very few actually know it has two effects outside of battle.
What is Cut/HM01?
This stat raised your "Special" stat upon receiving it.
What is the "Volcano Badge"?
Often regarded as a "Special Wall" in modern generations, thanks to Special Attack and Special Defense being one stat in Gen 1, this rotund healer was one of the hardest hitters in the game.
Who is "Chansey"?
A pokemon obtainable at the Route 18 Gate via trade for a Slowbro.
What is "Lickitung"?
This glitch caused some moves to miss even if they had 100% accuracy.
What is the 1/256 Glitch?
Between Pokemon Red and Blue and Yellow, your rival keeps these TWO psychic type pokemon in common.
Who are Alakazam and Exeggutor?
This is the badge you collect from defeating Sabrina in Saffron City.
What is the "Marsh Badge"?
Due to Poison and Bug types having a type advantage against each other in Generation 1, THIS pokemon family was the first, and so far only, pokemon family to have THREE different 4x weaknesses.
What is Paras/Parasect?
A pokemon obtainable on Route 2 via a trade for an Abra.
What is Mr. Mime?
This glitch raised your stats that were already boosted from acquired gym badges whenever a stat raising or lowering move was used on the target.
What is "The Badge Boost Glitch"
When you battle your rival before the Elite 4, his whole team is not fully evolved yet. By having him choose THIS starter, only two of his 6 pokemon will not be fully evolved.
What is Bulbasaur/Venusaur? (His Rhyhorn and Growlithe will be unevolved, any other team would have Exeggcute as well).
This badge's design and name contradict each other, leading many to speculate this gym leader was supposed to use a different type. This was somewhat confirmed in a beta leak from 2019.

One of the most powerful attacks in the game at the consequence of needing to recharge... unless this move takes the target out.
