The sabbath was made to enjoy creation. Before the fall, the Sabbath marked the beginning of all enjoyment of creation. After the fall, God stipulated that this day be separated every week to keep as a remembrance of who God is, what He has done. It is to be a day of enjoying the holiness of God in all of its glory. It is a blessing for man to remember a perfect creation, a holy God, and life without sin.
