Discuss OAS, QSC, and writing center. All students can go to any of these regardless of their struggles and with no additional cost.

Sample: Whether it’s a club meeting/event or something that the Student Events Board puts on, there are always a wide range of events going on! There are also activities often occurring in town. (Good place for a story about an event or activity you went to either on campus or in Ctown).

Are the residence halls separated by gender?
All of them are different to provide all of our students with safe living environments. We have an all female building, we have buildings that are separated by floor, and we have a building that is not gender specific. You can select your preferences on your housing forms.

Benefits of being a presidential fellow.
Some of the benefits include priority selection of courses for the first two years, option of presidential fellow housing, invitations to speaker sessions and other events, and options to enroll in honors courses.
Do you have a club (insert name of club we do NOT have)?
Rather than just saying no, tell them that you are more than welcome to create a club. All they have to do is request to make it a club at a student government association meeting and once approved, they will start to get funding.
What is the Rose O’Neill Literary House responsible for?
It is a safe and charming house where literary events are held, as well as a variety of classes. “The Lit House helps students grow as artists and to envision the lives they can have as writers, editors, and publishers.” (P.S. there is a really cool printing press in the basement!)

What if I hate my roommate?
Emphasize that there are RA’s that can help solve issues that arise with roommates and that most people, even if not best friends with their roommate freshman year, learn to live together. Keep it positive but let them know that they can move if needed.
What is The Starr Center for the Study of the American Experience responsible for?
It is “dedicated to fostering innovative approaches to the American past and present. Through educational programs, scholarship and public outreach, and a special focus on written history, the Starr Center seeks to bridge the divide between the academic world and the public at large.”
