Strategy #3 - Punctuation Power-Ups

For the editing portion, keep an eye out for these "Top 3" ACAP traps:

  1. Comma Splices: Two sentences joined by only a comma. (Wrong: I love pizza, it is great.)

  2. Semi-colons: Use these to join two complete, related sentences. (I love pizza; it is my favorite meal.)

  3. Items in a Series: Ensure there is a comma after every item in a list (The Oxford Comma).
