This sharp woman always has her eyes peeled for potential partnerships for Girl Scouts of Utah. She recently introduced us to Minky Couture founder, which we secured as the highest level sponsor for CFAC to date.
Who is Juanita Meske?
This program provides all of the funding and leadership of troops serving approximately 600 girls, mainly from title one schools, shelters, refugee programs, and low to moderate income families.

What is an Elevator Pitch?
GSU's current signature fundraising event that brings together women to raise money for Camperships through an amazing silent auction, energizing paddle raise, and corporate sponsors.

This bright and positive women helped us build inroads with the LDS Foundation, and finally after a period of X years, we now have our first in-person meeting again with the director.
Who is Leslie Egan?
This program supports our camps and provides a way for individuals to apply for financial support if assistance is needed to attend camp.

This a celebratory breakfast and leadership event historically held in the fall. Business and community leaders gather to recognize the impact of women and girls, showcase youth programs, and honor outstanding local women leaders across the state.

Who is Deepika de Silva?
Through supportive relationships and activities from our four program pillars, Girl Scouts of Utah develops leaders through the Girl Scout Processes: Girl Led, Cooperative Learning, and Learning by Doing. When donors give to this, they are helping girls achieve a strong sense of self, positive values, healthy relationships, community problem solving and the opportunity to take on new challenges.
What is the Girl Scouts Leadership Experience?
This is a key element of nurturing a donor at any level, whether that is attending an event, having a grant/sponsorship meeting, or making a donation.
What is sharing gratitude/appreciation—thanking them?
This virtual event is done with the Non-profit Association. This year Utah won a $1000 prize for earning the top spot in the Youth Category.

This board member provided development a list of connections, ranging from colleagues in her industry to contacts who are connected with businesses large and small.
