The counselor isn't going to tell teachers, peers, parents, etc. what you talked to them about without your permission. UNLESS there is a threat to your safety and/or a crime has been committed (harm to self, harm to others, or harm being done to you).

School counselors have to hold a masters degree in school counseling, and help students with academic, career, and social/emotional concerns. They also work with students, admin, teachers, parents, & others in the community.
