What was the original name of Greens Farms Academy?

"Mrs. Bolton's School for Girls." It was founded by Mary E. Bolton. In October 1925 Mrs. Bolton leased a room for her School, as well as living space for herself and her two daughters, Elizabeth Mary and Ann, in a three-story frame house on Church Lane across from Christ and Holy Trinity Church. The original teacher was Kathleen Laycock, Mrs. Bolton's younger sister.

When GFA first opened as The Bolton School, was it a Lower, Middle, or Upper School?  

Lower School! In the first year of the school, no students older than seven were accepted, and each year an older age group was added until it had its first graduating class in 1935.

In 1957, GFA, known as The Kathleen Laycock Country Day School at the time, moved to our campus now.
