Hallway Expectations
Single-file, walking feet ONLY, voice level 0, hands to yourself.
What are the expectations for walking in a line?
Level 2, and only with friends at your table.
What is allowed when talking in the lunchroom?
In the line closest to the basketball hoop.
What is the place where 4th graders line-up after recess?
You must eat at a desk during this time.
What is the most important morning snack rule?
The door should be shut with nothing sticking out.
What is the expectation for your locker?
This is the main priority when you are in the lunchroom.
What is eating?
Tell an adult if this happens.
What is that you do if there is a big deal?
This sound means you must stop what you are doing and give Miss Sharpe 100% of your attention.
What is the sound of the bell?
Level 0. Only level 1 if conversation is required.
What is an appropriate voice level for the hallway?
You stop talking and finish eating when this happens.
You line up when you hear these sounds.
What is the sound of a whistle or bell?
There is no "constructing" art during this time.
What is not allowed during Harry Potter read aloud?
What are your P.E. shoes?
It is okay to dump your food when you hear this.
What does a teacher calling your grade level mean?
These type of games are NEVER allowed on the playground.
What are physical contact sports or games? (NO cheese touch!!)
Voice Level 0 is required during these two times.
What is the voice level that is required during testing and when the teacher is talking?
Backpack, P.E. shoes, lunch box, ONE SET of winter clothes.
What are the contents allowed in your locker?
You should do these 3 things, and NEVER do this 1 thing at the end of lunch.
What is clean up after yourself, dump your tray or put your lunch box on the cart, and line up?
What is bring food or toys with you onto the playground?
If you play in the dirt, you will get muddy. If you play in the snow, you will get wet.
What is a natural consequence?
Unfinished work or silent read.
What are two things you can ALWAYS do if you finish something early?
