Explain how to perform a glide reflection.
Translate the image the given distance and direction, and then reflect to over a line of reflection. Repeat this process over and over with the same distance and direction.

What is a translation?
A function that moves an image a certain distance.

Explain how to perform a glide reflection tessellation if given a square piece of paper.
Cut a piece off the left side and translate it to the right side. Cut off a piece from the bottom and translate it to the top, then flip it over. To make a tessellation, line them up in a horizontal line. Once it is as long as you want, you can go up and start a new horizontal line. However, you will need to flip it so it fits in with no gaps.

What is a reflection?
A flip of a shape over a line of reflection. To create a "mirror image."

What 3 types of grids can you create glide reflection tessellations on?
Grids of glide-reflected kites, parallelograms, or squares.
