He knew that God was sovereign over his whole life.
Why did God create everything?
God created everything, not out of need, but out of abundance. In overflowing love and kindness, and by the pleasure of His own will and for His glory.
How did God show justice?
God didn't overlook any of Cain's evil and he would answer for Abel's blood.
How did God provide for Abraham?
He sent a ram in place of Isaac.

How did the story of Abraham sacrifcing Isaac point to Jesus?
Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son (God sacrificed His Son for us).
God provided a ram in place of Isaac. (God provided Jesus, the perfect lamb, in our place).
Why did Jacob not let go of who was wrestling him?
He wanted a legitamate blessing since he had stolen his brothers years ago. No tricks this time.
How do we see God's sovereignty in the life of Jesus?
Jesus was brutally murdered (which was not good) but it was all in God's perfect plan to redeem the whole world.
