What is sin?
Anything that goes against what God says is right and true.
What did king Nebuchadnezzar build?
A huge statue for people to worship.
What sinful thing did Belshazzar do?
He used the special cups made for worshiping the one true God; he and his guests were using them for worshipping Idols.
Why does our sin keep us away from God and Heaven?
God is perfect and Holy, he can't be around sins.
What did the prophet Jeremiah warn the people of Israel what would happen because they had turned against God?
Enemies would take over their land, destroy the cities, and they would be taken captive.
Why wouldn't God tell the wise men what his dream was?
He was testing them to see if they could really interpret dreams.
What would happen to anyone who refused to bow down and worship king Nebuchadnezzar's statue?
They would be thrown into a fiery furnace.
What happened while the king and his guests were drinking out of the cups from the temple?
A hand appeared and wrote a message on the wall.
What new law did the officials get the king to make?

Pray for God's help, trust God to help me, remember the memory verse, read the Bible
What did Daniel and his friends not want to do and why?
They didn't want to eat the king's food because it wouldn't honor God
What did the king dream about?
A huge statue made of gold, silver, bronze, iron, and clay that was broken by a large stone
Nothing. They didn't even smell like smoke.
What was offered for anyone who could read the message writing on the wall by the king?
A royal robe, a gold chain, the third highest position in the kingdom
What happened to Daniel in the lion's den?
God sent his angel and shut the lion's mouths.
What does it mean to honor God?
To show respect for God and what He says is right and do the right thing even when hard.
What happened as a result of Daniel telling the king about his dream?
The king said Daniel was great, gave him gifts, and Daniel and his friends were promoted to higher positions in the kingdom.
