What is the hole?

The name of the area enclosed by a small white circle in which you have the option to hit from with a one stroke penalty in the event you enter a yellow hazard
What is a drop zone/area?
Your noise level while your playing partner is preparing/hitting a shot
What is silent?
Name for finishing hole in two strokes under par for that hole
What is eagle?
The color of a lateral hazard line or stake
What is red?
You can remove these from your playing area or a sand bunker so long as the ball does not move
What are loose impediments?
The number of strokes you are penalized for illegally grounding your club in a sand bunker
What is 2?
Where you should stand on the green when your playing partner is putting
What is out of sight?
The number of strokes you must penalize yourself with in the event that you attempt to hit the ball on one stroke and miss it completely
What is one?
The color of an out of bounds line, stake, or fence
What is white?
The only area in which you are allowed to physically place your ball on the ground or a tee
The name of the penalty in which you are forced to replay your shot from the same spot with a one stroke penalty
What is stroke and distance?
You should never walk here when players are on the green preparing to putt
What is someone else's putting line?
The name of the format in which players play against the field and compare the total amount of shots taken in that round
What is stroke play?
The color of a water hazard line or stake
What is yellow?
The maximum amount of club lengths back from the tee markers that you are allowed to place your ball on the tee box
What is two club lengths?
This is when you find your ball but feel it may be too difficult or dangerous to play so you decide to take a one stroke penalty and either go back to your last playing position, take relief two club lengths from the ball no nearer to the hole, or revert back on a straight line between the ball and the hole as far as you wish
What is an unplayable lie penalty?
A name for "giving" your opponent a putt or the hole in match play situations
What is a concession? What is conceding a putt/hole?
The name of the format in which one player plays against another player per hole and gets scored by winning a hole by taking less strokes than your opponent on that hole
What is match play?
The maximum length of any club except for a putter according to USGA rules
