TOM- Jem is very affected by the trial he hates the unfair treatment of Tom and when Atticus loses the case he won't even talk about it.

1.He is married to a black woman and has mixed children, plus he drinks all the time from a paper bag 2.We learn he married the black woman because he loves her and he isn't racist, and he drinks coke from the bottle not alcohol when Dill was crying outside the courthouse during the trial 3.His reasoning is because he has to give the town a reason for/ explanation on why he would ever marry a black woman

1 in every 5, legally if the school is being funded by the government they have to investigate all complaints and solve the problem, this is a law. The school can choose to punish you however they feel most fit. If the case has worsened and law enforcement has been gotten involved and then this can lead to you getting a misdemeanor or charged with a felony.
