What is Testimonial?
The measuring units used to tell broadcasters how many households and/or viewers have their stations/programs on at a particular time. This information is used in determining how much station will charge advertising for commercial time.
What are Ratings?
Perfect for a dream sequence. This transition is used when one shot is gradually replaced by another but it makes use of a filter which gives a dream-like quality to the transition.
What is a ripple dissolve?
In the ultra key setting, changing to this setting helps better select green components with the eyedropper so remaining green is not as visible.
What is agressive?
This effect improves a poor quality shot caused by shaky handheld camerawork.
What is the warp stabilizer effect?
Technique that emphasizes plain folks, back to nature, just like grandma used to make back in the good old days.
What is Nostalgia?
An offbeat or humorous story that typically is used to mark the end of the news segment and the beginning of the sports/weather segment. It can also be used to end a newscast.
What is a kicker?
During this transition, the shot starts at full brightness and gradually becomes invisible.
What is a fade out?
This "eye"con allows you to select the green colour you would like to remove.
What is eyedropper?
This work space allows you to adjust color, contrast, and light in your sequences in new and innovative ways.

What is Happy Talk?
This transition is used indicate the end of a story by animating a contracting circle inward from the edge of the frame. It’s like a spotlight focussing on one area of the shot.

Something that should be done to have a better look when using a green sheet.

People tend to remember an advertisement if it makes them laugh. They may purchase the product because of their positive association with it.

What is a Control Room?
This transition involves moving to a secondary (but related) shot which is separate from the main action. It can be used to show action in two different locations, or in a conversation to show both the speaker and listener.

This tool allows you to cut clips shorter at certain points when they are in the sequence.

A chronological outline or order of stories or segments to be used in a newscast. This is the producer's blueprint for the newscast.
