Grade 5 students have two core teachers. Students spend half the day with one teacher and then switch to the other.

Depending on where the specials are located, it may take around 4 minutes.

Bus turnaround around the soccer field and then near the 3rd street

What are some RnR rules?
You must stay in the grade 5 area, wear proper shoes if playing soccer/4 square, put garbage in bins, be kind, be an upstander

Both, at least two times a year.

Zero tolerance for bullying
Do grade 5 students have lockers?
We do not have lockers, we have cubbies. Each teacher may have a different way of assigning cubbies.
Which recess games and/or equipment are available during RnR?
Balls (basketball, four square, tetherball, gagaball), during Tuesday connections recess, there are more varieties.

Is there detention?
Yes, for different types of incidents. We will go over these at the beginning of the year.

No, you cannot sign up for band; it is mandatory to take music.
