The seeds that fell along the path represented people that listened to God’s word and had the Devil come and take it away quickly. The seeds that fell on the rocky ground represented the joy that people felt when initially hearing God’s Word but quickly turned away when they were tested.

Abraham had one son named Isaac whom he loved with his whole heart. When God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, he did it knowing that God has a plan.

What is the difference between the seeds that fell among thorns and those that fell on good soil?

The seeds that fell among thorns represented those who heard the Word but turned back when life’s worries/greed/riches/fears got in the way. The seeds that fell on good soil represent those that hear the Word of God, accept it and retain it in order to live a fruitful, happy life.
