This policy separated blacks and whites in public places in the South after the Civil War

These were the last 2 states added to America (the 49th & 50th states)
What are Alaska & Hawaii?
FDR's attempt to fight back against the Great Depression with a series of laws focused on relief, reform & recovery

Women gained the right to vote in 1920 with the passage of the 19th Amendment. These female protesters had spent over a century fighting for this right
