Add the items in BCC lab inventory 46-1315 sheet under Order Requests and then ask Abdullah/Joe to check the items there. Ensure to have proper description, Catalog#, and the quantity
How many times should a trainee be an (O) or and (I) for a step before they can move to the next level?
At least 2 times but if more than that is needed speak to lab manager/scheduler
How should we dispose of hazardous waste in lab? Such as liquid, solid, brown boxes, mayo jars, etc.
Liquids: put hazardous/residual waste tag outside the lab
Solids: Powder in double bag after IPA wiping the bottle in P-listed boxes.
Brown boxes: zip tie both bags, close, and leave outside the lab.
Mayo jars: IPA wipe, put in ziploc bag.
What should you tell the command center to do if you know the freezer temperatures are affected causing alarms due to material movement?
Call x26100, tell them to put said freezer in disregard for 24 hours
What 3 pieces of PPE are always required in lab?
safety glasses, lab coat, and appropriate gloves for the day nitrile or neoprene

Meet with trainees to go over the step, come up with a plan on timing, create ELN notebook

"I perfectly closed/signed my NB on 01Jan2025. I think the NB does not need SPR. The last entry was on 25Nov2025. Operators signed the NB afterwards with no delay." Is this NB good for SPR signature?
No, it still needs to SPR’d, and Policy 23 tab needs to be added with a note in the title tab as 30+ day passed between entries.
Explain the procedure to make a new inventory location?
Inventory subtab on the left -> click create [+] button in the top left corner -> dropdown option: Location -> create new location -> select Schema as Box (unstructured) or Bag (location) -> Location name is the MMD-xxxxxx -> location is B46 –1313 – Freezer #, Shelf/Bin #

What's the difference between ELN Policy23 violation and delayed signature?
Policy 23 is for NB that are inactive for more than 30 days while delayed signature remediation is for operators that didn’t sign 30 days after the NB was closed/signed.
What is expected from Scilead to do to check their materials are available for their experiment?
Check Benhcling for materials and physically check the locations in the freezers.

Conjugation is happening on a Monday morning and a cyano prep solution is required to be made the day prior (Sunday). As a fully trained scientist, what are the necessary steps needed if you are assigned to cyano prep as a lone laborer?
Make sure to comply with lone worker policy. Notify command center or someone on the team and make sure to check in via text message or phone call periodically and when you have concluded the days work and left lab.
