At least 2 times but if more than that is needed speak to lab manager/scheduler
How should we dispose of hazardous waste in lab? Such as liquid, solid, brown boxes, mayo jars, etc.
Liquids: put hazardous/residual waste tag outside the lab
Solids: Powder in double bag after IPA wiping the bottle in P-listed boxes.
Brown boxes: zip tie both bags, close, and leave outside the lab.
Mayo jars: IPA wipe, put in ziploc bag.
What should you tell the command center to do if you know the freezer temperatures are affected causing alarms due to material movement?
Call x26100, tell them to put said freezer in disregard for 24 hours
What 3 pieces of PPE are always required in lab?
safety glasses, lab coat, and appropriate gloves for the day nitrile or neoprene

No, it still needs to SPR’d, and Policy 23 tab needs to be added with a note in the title tab as 30+ day passed between entries.

Conjugation is happening on a Monday morning and a cyano prep solution is required to be made the day prior (Sunday). As a fully trained scientist, what are the necessary steps needed if you are assigned to cyano prep as a lone laborer?
Make sure to comply with lone worker policy. Notify command center or someone on the team and make sure to check in via text message or phone call periodically and when you have concluded the days work and left lab.
