While there, Rosaura had fun and helped the magician, even though Luciana's cousin was mean to her. At the end of the story, Rosaura doesn't get a present like the rest of the kids but instead Senora Ines gives her money. This shows that they still didn't treat Rosaura as an equal but just like she was there to help as a job.
