Who violated the weapon control law, and how was it violated?
Julius Caesar violated the law by the standing army to assert his position and power over Rome as Emporer. The Weapon control law forbade military arms from crossing over the Rubicon which was a small stream that separated Italy and cisalpine Gaul.
