the ball is given to the team the foul was committed upon. they get the ball at the nearest side or baseline out of bound and have 5 seconds to pass the ball onto the court
what is traveling
its when you take a step and a half without dribbling the ball is traveling moving your pivot foot once you stopped dribbling is traveling
what is it called when an offensive player sticks out a limb and makes physical contact with the defender

what is carrying
when a player dribbles the ball with his hand to far to the side of or sometimes even under the ball

what happens when we block
we prevent the opponents drive to the basket which we aren't aloud to do at least you have to be apart un arm length
what is a double dribble
dribbling the ball with both hands on the ball or picking up the dribble and then dribbling again
what happens when a player is being fouled while shooting
he gets 2 free throws if his shot doesn't go in but if it does then he only gets one free throw
if you make violent contact with an opponent hitting kicking and punching what will happen
this type of foul results in free throws plus the offence retaining possession of the ball after the free throws
what is a backcourt violation
its when a player has brought the ball across the mid court line and cross there line again during there possession if they do then the ball is awarded to the other team to pass the inbound
if the player is shooting at the 3 pointer and gets a foul because of the other player and they miss there shot what happens
they get three free shots and if it does go in then he is awarded with still a free shot so he could score four points on the play
what is a technical foul
foul language,obscenity, obscene gesture and even arguing can be considered a technical foul
