Hamlet

Why is giving Ophelia a Christian burial so controversial?
*It is unclear whether she really drowned or if she committed suicide. If she committed suicide, as one of the gravediggers suspects, than giving her a Christian burial is considered wrong because suicide is a sin. *The gravediggers suspect that the only reason Ophelia is getting a Christian burial is because she comes from a well-to-do family. If she had been poor, as they are, she would not receive one. *The priest tells Laertes that giving Ophelia any more of a Christian burial would be disrespectful to all those who really did deserve one. He will not say any more words for her.

What is Hamlet contemplating in the soliloquy below:

To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing, end them. To die, to sleep—
No more, and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to; ’tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish’d. To die, to sleep—
To sleep, perchance to dream—ay, there’s the rub,
