What is plagiarism?

Be sure that all your materials are inside this, NOT on top of it or underneath it. We want our hallways looking great when guests visit.

If you use another's ideas or writing and forget to do this, you are guilty of plagiarism.

Ladies, these must be longer than your outstretched fingertips in order to be worn to school.
What are skirts or shorts?
Cell phones may not be used between these two times, our school's start and end times.
What are 8:00 and 3:20?
After school there are three acceptable places for students to be: waiting for a parent on the stairs out front, with a teacher or coach, or here. Maybe you can say hi to Ms. Livingston while you are there.
What is the library?
Knights have pride in their castles and keep them clean. Be sure to keep lockers, walls, and desks free of this kind of drawing or writing
What is graffiti?
This offense will be considered a learning opportunity. The student will have to re-do the assignment and his or her parents will be notified.
What is the first offense?
This area of the body, where the arm meets the neck and back, must be covered at school.
What are shoulders?
All cell phones being used without a teachers permission during school hours will be turned in to this person's office.
Who is Mr. Wendel?
The lovely enclosed outdoor area is a great place to have snack. Middle school students cannot be there unsupervised after school though.
What is the courtyard?
This is very limited at our school, so use the internet for research, not for streaming videos on Youtube.
What is bandwidth?
For this offense, the consequence will be academic probation for the remainder of the semester and an in school suspension. The assignment must be redone.
What is the second offense?
Make sure your clothes aren't like Swiss cheese and don't have any of these.
What are holes?
For the first offense, a confiscated phone will be returned to the student at the end of the day. For the second offense, the cell phone will be returned at this time.
What is the next day?
Be sure to drop this off in your locker in the morning and bring only your books for the first two classes. We wouldn't want someone tripping over a strap in an emergency.
What is a backpack?
Glad you worked hard this semester. A 4 on your report card means this.
What is has achieved standard?
At ACS we use this format to produce our bibliographies.

There's a new cell phone policy this year! Now, all cell phones must be stored in this secure place for the entire school day.

If you arrive at school after advisory is over (8:05) be sure to check in with this secretary outside Mr. Wendel's office.
