Methods to Verify Whether a Customer Received a Tax Notice

AGENT BOT:

  • Ask the customer directly if they received the tax notice.
  • Review the customer's email history.
  • Check Literature Fulfillment History for any mailed tax notices.
  • Review Call Logger notes for documentation of tax notice discussions or delivery.
  • Verify whether a de-minimis letter was issued.
  • Review records for beneficiaries and QDRO alternate payees, as tax notices may have been sent to them when applicable.
