What is a bookmark?
This is the section of the library I would go to find picture books.
What is the Everyone section?
This person drew the pictures in the book.
Who is the illustrator?
This genre is all about the magic - unicorns, dragons, magic spells......
What is Fantasy?
This person wrote Green Eggs and Ham.
Who is Dr. Seuss?
This is what it is called when I want to keep the book I have checked out so that I can finish reading it.
What is renew?
This is the section of the library I would look in to find true information books.
What is Nonfiction?
This person wrote the words in the book
Who is the author?
This genre features an unexplained death, mysterious event or crime to solve.
What is Mystery?
He is the main character in Diary of a Wimpy Kid?
Who is Greg Heffley?
This is how long you may have a book checked out before it is overdue.
What is two weeks?
This section of the library is where I would find chapter books, books like Harry Potter or Dork Diaries.
What is the Fiction section?
This is located on the front cover and is what is scanned to check out a book from the Hemby Bridge library.
What is the barcode?
This genre includes stories that could happen, but did not happen. Characters, places, events, families and clothing all reflect our own lives.
What is realistic fiction?
This person wrote the Piggie & Elephant series.
Who is Mo Williems?
The book I want is checked out, and I want to check it out next - this is what I need to do to make sure that I can check it out next after it is returned.
What is put a hold on a book?
This section has books that are similar to comic books.
What is Graphic Novels?
This part of the book is usually located at the back of the book and gives definition of words in the book. These words are in alphabetical order.
What is the glossary?
This genre takes place in the past, and may include war, discrimination or other real events, but the characters may not be real.
What is historical fiction?
This fictional series tells a story from history, through the eyes of a kid who lived to tell the tale.
What is I Survived?
This is the library system used to organize books in the library - hint.....named after a librarian from the early 1900's.
What is the Dewey decimal system?
I am looking for a book about the life and accomplishments of a real person.
What is biography?
This is found on the spine of the book and tells me where the book is located in the library - the address of the book.
What is the call number?
The genre could take place in the future and may include aliens, futuristic inventions.
What is Science Fiction?
This is the full name of the main character in Dog Man.
What is Gregory "Dog Man" Officer Knight?
