The skeletal, nervous and muscular system work in unison to create movement. Movement cannot occur unless all 3 systems work as together

The skeletal system provides protection for internal organs e.g. the lungs, heart, brain, uterus.

Red Blood Cells are created in the soft marrow of long bones.

Bones provide sites for soft tissue attachment: muscle tissue, ligaments and tendons.

The skeleton also stores minerals salts such as calcium.
