Count out the pills and package them, provide info to customers and patients and make sure people are not allergic to the medicine
What does a medical assistant do?
Prepare patients for exams by taking temperature, pulse and respiration.
What does a pharmacy technician do?
Help prepare prescriptions for patients. Mix and fill the orders of the medicine and record the order in patients profile.
What does a perfusionist do?
Operate the heart and lung machine during surgery, monitor blood circulation during surgery.
What does a dental assistant do?
Perform office managment tasks. Prepare equiment and help people get comfortable.
What does a surgical technologist do?
Prepare the skin and help apply equipment and monitoring devices.
What does a dental hygienist do?
Clean patients teeth, take x-rays of the patients mouth.
What does an athletic trainer do?
Develope conditioning and nurtrition programs to help athletes prevent injuries.
What does a dentist do?
Fill cavities, treat gum diseases, dentist perform the surgery.
What does emt/ paramedics do?
Respond to health care crisis, respond to heart attacks, unexpected child birth, car accidents, fires.
