How do you reset a password?

What is: Go to Setup- Users- Click on appropriate user- hit temp password- reset their password

OR

Go to setup- Users- click Resend Email (this is for the employee to reset their password on their own) (MUST HAVE A FUNCTIONING EMAIL)
